“Collision of Silence” was born in a moment of contradiction—where stillness felt overwhelming, and noise felt like escape. I layered heavy textures to reflect the emotional weight we often carry beneath calm exteriors. The vibrant clash of burnt orange and deep cerulean represents two opposing energies: conflict and clarity, chaos and control.

The central teal form cuts through the neutral background like a sudden thought disrupting meditation—unwelcome yet honest. Black anchors the piece, symbolizing the darker undercurrents of our internal dialogues, while the soft whites and greys create breathing room, a sense of space to process.

This work is not meant to be “understood” so much as felt. I encourage viewers to stand in silence before it and let their own unresolved emotions rise to the surface. It is less a painting and more a conversation with the self.
